Recommended for cultivation in regions like West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, and Assam, it demonstrates tolerance to stem rot and Peanut Bud Necrosis Disease (PBND), enhancing its suitability for diverse agro-climatic conditions.



The VL-Moongphali-1 variety of groundnuts, introduced in 2008 at the releasing center VPKAS, Almora, exhibits a promising yield potential of approximately 1943 kg/ha.
